Beatriz Jin Morales Azara joined in August 2024 as Consultant and is affiliated with the Danish office.
As Consultant, Beatriz works extensively with data analysis, interpreting raw data and adapting it for implementation of solutions. Moreover, she participates in analysing the in-flow of goods, finding solutions and strategies for future improvement. Beatriz also utilises Power BI for developing models for the clients.
Before joining the Langebæk team, Beatriz worked in maritime logistics, where she was involved in the crewing department. Alongside her studies, she worked as a teaching assistant in network optimisation at DTU, honing her skills in terms of graphs and networks used as modelling language to solve large network optimisation problems by means of algorithms.
As part of her internship, Beatriz worked with data gathering for preventative maintenance of machinery.
Beatriz holds a BSc. in Industrial Engineering from her native country of Spain and has a double MSc. degree programme in Industrial Engineering and Management specialized in Management and Analysis of Operations from DTU. It covered among others the development and application of analytical and quantitative tools to optimize operational processes, including a wide range of topics as tools for mathematical programming, supply chain analytics, optimisation, and industry 4.0.
During her studies, Beatriz focused besides from optimisation on sustainability in the supply chain as well, expressing her passion for climate impact mitigation and de-carbonisation as an interest in transport optimisation in problems such as Liner shipping or VRP (Vehicle Routing Problem).
